A Note from our Founder
Hello Everyone!
I want to thank you for visiting our website and experiencing our mission through the photos and stories of the clients we serve. My name is Kendra Lewis.
I am blessed to say that I am both an occupational therapist and the Founder of Cutting Fences Foundation. Being raised in a community rooted in the spirit of agriculture quickly shaped my passions to serve others and meet the needs of our community. Our work to find adaptive solutions and resources to help farmers and ranchers do what they love despite disability is heavily influenced by the resilience and determination of the agricultural producers themselves.
I have been blessed with the unique opportunity of seeing the beauty of the work our farmers and ranchers do on a level that not everyone gets to or wants to; I have seen the pain and heartache caused by having that work stripped away, but I have also seen the unimaginable allure of regaining the ability to do such work--and that is what our work is all about. I am blessed with this opportunity to carry my torch of service and can only hope to light others along the way.

Together we are Cutting Fences– Eliminating Barriers and Uniting Fields!

“Access has always been important to me. I don’t like being pushed. I don’t like waiting and others going, even if someone stays back with me. I don’t want to not get to choose. I like the Action Trackchair so much I am thinking about how to buy one? How to pull one? It will not be the same without it.”
